After last weekend’s disappointing defeat to Aston Villa, Manchester United are back in action tonight as they welcome Villarreal to Old Trafford for their second group game of the Champions League.
Villarreal took the lead early into the second half but the visitor’s goal invited pressure from United, who capitalised on it just minutes after going behind.
Mason Greenwood won a free-kick on the right-hand side, with Bruno Fernandes finding Alex Telles waiting on the edge of the box. The Brazil international was yet to score for United but opened his account with an incredible volley, as seen below.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and his side will hope to build on the equalising goal as they chase their first Champions League win of the season.
