Promising teenager joins Manchester United after leaving Arsenal

Manchester United have completed the signing of highly-rated youngster Harrison Parker following his exit from Arsenal in the summer.

Parker, 15, announced his move to United on social media after confirming he’d earned a contract at the club after impressing on trial.

The England youth international decided to pack it in at Arsenal after nine-years with the Gooners, but now it’s time for a new challenge for the promising teenager.

Parker posed for a picture of himself along with his new United shirt with the No.5 on the back.

“Excited to have officially signed for @manchesterunited,” he wrote on Instagram. “The new chapter starts and the hard work continues.”

The young defender made a good impression on United coaches during a summer trip to Northern Ireland as the club took part in the Milk Cup – marking the 30th anniversary of our triumph at the tournament back in 1991.

David Beckham captained the young United side back then but the team also featured the likes of Paul Scholes, Nicky Butt and Robbie Savage.
