Erling Haaland edges towards La Liga transfer

Erling Haaland’s future will make the headlines until the day he leaves Borussia Dortmund.

The youngster will seemingly have a choice to pick from this summer, with all of Europe’s top clubs chasing him by the heels.

For the player, he must decide when the right time is to leave Dortmund, like Jadon Sancho did in the summer. His incredible goalscoring ratio since bursting onto the scene a couple of seasons ago has made him Europe’s most wanted.

“He is an independent personality,” Dortmund CEO, Hans-Joachim Watzke, said as quoted by AS. “Anyway, at some point he will play for one of the best clubs in the world, although he is already playing in one of the best clubs in the world.

“But I know, of course, that Real Madrid seduces him.”

The Manchester Evening News has already listed Haaland as a Manchester United target.

With Kylian Mbappe also believed to be wanting a move to Real Madrid, Florentinio Perez will need to find the money somewhere if Los Blancos plan on buying a number of young stars next summer. Manager Carlo Ancelotti currently has Karim Benzema and Vinicius Junior at his disposal.

Is it inevitable that he ends up there?
