Manchester United are in action again on Wednesday evening as they welcome West Ham to Old Trafford for the third round of this season’s Carabao Cup.
The meeting between the two sides comes just days after the dramatic Premier League encounter at the London Stadium. A deflected strike from Said Benrahma gave David Moyes’ side the lead but in typical Manchester United fashion, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side turned it around to steal all three points.
Tonight’s fixture has offered Solskjaer the chance to rotate his squad and the game will mark the first start for some players in the squad. Donny van de Beek, who has only featured in two games so far as a substitute, is one of those players.

Dean Henderson makes his first appearance of the season after missing United’s first few games through COVID-19. The young goalkeeper has played twice for the U23’s but now makes his season bow for the first team.
Jesse Lingard’s heroic performance off the bench last weekend has earned him a starting berth against his former side whilst Jadon Sancho is also reintroduced to the side.
