The annual release of FIFA is usually met by fanfare and it’s no different this year. The latest rendition is set to be released a week later than usual, with the game expected to be available globally in the first week of October.
Manchester United are one of the most popular teams in the game and the club has the joint-highest rated player in the Premier League. Although he has seen his rating dropped by one point, Cristiano Ronaldo’s mark of 91 (out of 99) is only matched by Manchester City’s Kevin de Bruyne.
The interactive game mode ‘Ultimate Team’ allows users to build their own clubs and teams with all players, past and present, at their disposal.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, Wayne Rooney, George Best, and Rio Ferdinand are some of the players available but Manchester United fan-favourite Robin van Persie has been announced as the latest addition to the prestigious ‘Icon’ club, as seen above.
Van Persie has been given a rating of 91 and boasts mouthwatering macro stats, with shooting (94) and dribbling (90) standing out.
Over his three seasons at Old Trafford, Van Persie scored 58 goals in 105 appearances and was adopted as a cult hero following his controversial transfer from Arsenal in 2012.
