Manchester United have made a promising start to their Premier League campaign as they boast a near-perfect record of four wins and one draw.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side remains unbeaten this year and will be hoping to extend that run further when they welcome Aston Villa to Old Trafford this weekend.
Dean Smith’s side is full of confidence after a comfortable 3-0 win over Everton last weekend and will hope to record a first win at Old Trafford since their promotion in 2019.
Leon Bailey, Aston Villa’s £28.8m summer signing (Transfermarkt), starred in that victory over Everton, forcing an own goal from Lucas Digne before slotting in Aston Villa’s third goal. The Jamaican winger could, however, be absent for the encounter at Old Trafford.

That’s according to Birmingham Mail journalist Ashley Preece, who has labelled the former Bayer Leverkusen star as a ‘major doubt’ for Saturday’s fixture.
Should the 24-year-old miss out for Villa, former Manchester United captain Ashley Young could face his former side for the first time since leaving in 2020.
