Solskjaer confirms three squad members for West Ham clash

Games are coming thick and fast and after last weekend’s dramatic encounter with West Ham, the Hammers make the trip to Old Trafford for a Carabao Cup meeting.

David Moyes’ side was enjoying an unbeaten start to their campaign prior to Sunday’s match and will be hoping to bounce back against Manchester United on Wednesday.

Following the 2-1 win at the London Stadium, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer confirmed Jesse Lingard would be involved in the cup game, having proven to be the difference-maker in the league fixture.

The Norwegian manager has now confirmed that another two players will make the squad. Left-back Alex Telles and exciting youngster Anthony Elanga are set to be involved and could make their first appearances of the season.

“He was disappointed not to travel down to West Ham [for Sunday’s Premier League game] but he scored for the Under-23s and now he’s ready. He’ll be involved in the squad,” Solskjaer told the official Manchester United website on Elanga. “Alex (Telles) has worked well and will be in the squad as well,” he added.

Elanga last appeared for the first team in their penultimate pre-season friendly against Brentford, where he scored United’s first goal. Telles featured in the first match of pre-season but has been ruled out for over two months after sustaining an ankle injury in training.

I think Olegunar Solskjear is a good manager by giving all the players enough playing time means he has trust in each and every player and that should be the trend .We expect a good result in every game we tackle regardless of squad rotation.Come on guys wish you good luck in tomorrow’s game 🙏🙏
