Tyson Fury enjoyed Jesse Lingard’s winner against West Ham on Sunday.
The heavyweight boxer has backed Lingard in a public message, after the forward netted a late winner against the team he spent the second half of last season on loan with.
Lingard came in for strong criticism last week after his back pass led to a winning goal for Young Boys in United’s opening Champions League game.
But he made up for that yesterday with a cracking strike in the 89th minute.
Fury quoted Rocky Balboa in a tweet directed to Lingard after the match, as seen below:
‘it ain't how hard you hit; it's about how hard you can get hit, and keep moving forward. How much you can take, and keep moving forward.’ #Jlingz
What a strike 👑👊🏽 https://t.co/pAIZiKmzDS
