Andreas Pereira will be playing his football in Brazil this season after joining Flamengo on a season-long loan.
The 25-year-old wasn’t getting the game time he needed at Manchester United and after spending last season in Italy with Lazio, it was clear this summer that he was surplus to requirements, even though most fans would stress the importance of signing a new midfielder before the transfer window shuts.
Pereira played a role in United’s pre-season tour but Ole Gunnar Solskjaer came to the decision to loan him out again.

I would be surprised if Pereira had a future at United but we still wish him the very best on his quest to make the Brazil squad for the World Cup in Qatar.
