Manchester United are involved in quite a tumultuous opening day in the Premier League, with the club revealing the signing of Raphael Varane ahead of kick-off.
On top of that, the small matter of facing one of your fierce rivals in this season’s curtain-raiser remains. Manchester United started the game on the front foot, asserting their dominance on a Leeds side seemingly not comfortable with the electric atmosphere at Old Trafford.

It wasn’t long, however, until Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side scored again. Mason Greenwood latched onto a spectacular pass from Paul Pogba to score United’s second before Fernandes scored his second just moments after.
The third goal, which was deemed to be over the line by the goalline technology, was Pogba’s third assist of the game. You can watch both goals above.
