Transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano claims that Raphael Varane is now a Manchester United player.
Although we are still waiting on the club’s official announcement, our minds can rest knowing one of the best defenders in the world has joined United. He will come in and partner Harry Maguire at the heart of defence.
Romano says Varane signed his contract late last night and a formal announcement is expected today.

That is not to say the deal was ever in doubt, but the situation needed to be sorted and it sounds like everything is now in place for Varane to be officially announced.
