Manchester United youngster and loanee Tahith Chong enjoyed a brilliant start to life in the Championship, helping his new Birmingham side to an opening day victory at Sheffield United.
The winger started pre-season with Manchester United and scored in their first fixture of the summer, a 2-1 win over Wayne Rooney’s Derby County.
Chong spent last season on loan at both Werder Bremen and Club Brugge but failed to leave a real imprint in both spells, casting doubts over his future at Manchester United.

But the 21-year-old, who can be seen showing off his Man of the Match award above, has gotten off to the best possible start under Lee Bowyer.
If all goes as planned, Chong will spend the entire season with the Championship outfit before returning to Manchester United, with his contract at Old Trafford also set to expire at the end of this season.
As per the official announcement of Chong’s contract extension, last year on ManUtd.com, Manchester United have an option to extend his deal for a further year.
