Paul Pogba made his return to Manchester United on Saturday as they eased past a lackluster Everton side to win 4-0. The France international was one of many first-team regulars to make their first pre-season appearance of the summer.
Pogba was granted an extended break this summer following his involvement in this summer’s European Championship but he returned to action against Everton, featuring in the second half as United played out their final dress rehearsal.
Amid speculation over his future, the 28-year-old was given an ovation by Manchester United fans during the warm-up, and the former Juventus star reciprocated the gesture with a wave.

Despite having just 45 minutes of pre-season action in the bank, Pogba is expected to play some part in next week’s Premier League game against Leeds United.
55,000 fans were in attendance to watch the trashing of Everton but Old Trafford will be sold out for the first time since March 2020 when Marcelo Bielsa’s side visits.

Well I can only assume those wishing him to stay are City fans in disguise.
United would be better off both financially and on the pitch if he were to be sold this summer, so please pop off, there’s a good chap.
Why do I want him gone?
For starters one minute he wants to go, then he doesn’t then Utd offer a new contract he doesn’t sign it, so no commitment off the pitch.
On the pitch he shows flashes of genius every so often, and that’s in periods of weeks not in a game, he is bang average most of the time and gives the ball away far too easily.
He is a nice player, we love him and I think he should stay.

Pogba should leave Man U now. He may be talented sort off, but he’s not a seriously minded player, his style is not that of United.
Let him go. Always playing as if nothing is ever at stake, we’re better off without him & Rashford.
