Manchester United defender set to join Hull City on season-long loan

Good news for Di-Shon Bernard with a loan move to Hull City on the cards.

The Manchester United academy graduate, who joined the club from Chelsea in 2017, spent last season on loan at Salford City.

He made 31 appearances for the League Two side and will now make a step up to England’s second tier, as per Hull Daily Mail.

It’s an exciting move for Bernard, with the report suggesting he will spend the full season away from United.

The aim must be to gain more first team football and to develop as a player in a tougher league. And, on top of that, the experience he will gain from being away and out of his comfort zone should do him the world of good.

Bernard has made two substitute appearances under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer during in pre-season, but Saturday’s game against Preston North End has been canceled due to a suspected COVID-19 outbreak in the first team squad.
