Manchester United’s stance on Eduardo Camavinga – report

Eduardo Camavinga remains one of the hottest properties in European football despite his tender age. The 18-year-old has been tipped to have a long and illustrious career and has been linked with a move to Manchester United this summer.

Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid have also been touted as possible destinations for the Frenchman this summer but only the former poses a realistic threat for Manchester United this summer.

According to the Daily Mail, Manchester United have discussed the possible signing of Camavinga this summer but the club would be more inclined to wait 12 months to sign him.

Camavinga has just one year remaining on his contract at Rennes and is eligible to sign a pre-contract with other clubs in just six months, hence why the Old Trafford hierarchy would be open to taking that stance.

Competition would, however, be far more fierce next summer. The player would be able to pick his next club as he chooses and not worry about his club agreeing on a deal with another club.
