Bayern Munich offer Leon Goretzka bumper deal amid Manchester United rumours

Bayern Munich do not want to see two key stars leave the Allianz Arena on Bosman deals, including Leon Goretzka who has been linked with a move to Manchester United.

Spanish publication Marca claim that Bayern Munich do not want a repeat scenario which saw David Alaba recently join Real Madrid for free. It would be seen as a disaster for the Bundesliga giants if the same was to happen Kingsley Coman and Goretzka.

It’s a strange one because you don’t often hear of players wanting to leave Bayern Munich, especially Germany internationals like Goretzka.

Bayern Munich have reportedly offered the player a €12m-per-year deal.

That could be enough to put this transfer saga to bed – and at least it was only short lived.

Bayern are bound to panic knowing Goretzka’s contract is up next summer.

It doesn’t change anything about United needing to bolster their midfield. And that is likely to require some player sales.
