Three players discussed in meeting between Man Utd and Juventus – report

Copa America and Euro 2020 have both finished and although the Tokyo Olympics are taking place in the background, speculation over transfers is dominating headlines, as ever at this time of the summer.

Manchester United are on the verge of announcing the signing of Jadon Sancho on a five-year deal from Borussia Dortmund and they remain firmly in the driving seat to bring Raphael Varane to the club.

Some have argued that some players would need to be moved on in order to fund marquee incomings at the club and according to new reports, the club has reportedly held a meeting with Juventus where three players were discussed, two of them being United players.

That’s according to journalist Rudy Galetti, who claims that a meeting was held during the night and that Donny van de Beek, Paul Pogba, and Adrien Rabiot were discussed, among other various topics.

Van de Beek and Pogba’s futures at the club are both in doubt but for different reasons. Pogba has just one year remaining on his contract and is reportedly attracting the interest of Paris Saint-Germain, whilst Van de Beek’s limited output offers little hope that he remains in Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s plans beyond this summer.
