Man United star excited by PSG links but won’t force summer move

According to recent reports, Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba is ‘thrilled’ at the prospect of joining Paris-Saint Germain.

That’s according to a recent claim from RMC journalist Loic Tanzi, who has reported that the 2018 World Cup winner is well aware of Paris-Saint Germain’s desire to sign him.

However, going on to address the possibility of Pogba swapping Old Trafford for the Parc des Princes, Tanzi has confirmed that the midfielder will not actively push for a move.

Should the reports be anything to go by though, fans will be far from impressed.

With just 12-months left on his current contract, this summer could be a make or break window for the midfielder’s United future.

Seemingly still worth several million, especially after enjoying an impressive Euros 2020 tournament, the Red Devils’ hierarchy run the risk of seeing their prized asset leave for free if they do not make a decision this window.

Where do you think the 28-year-old will play his football next season? – Let us know in the comments.

  1. Why do you want to leave a club where you can become highest earner and club legend. Where you can see movement in the right direction. Where the coach adores you and believe in you to lead his project. Plans to win trofees.

  2. United need to sell this summer, £65million is better than zero, because this player does not want to spend a second longer than he has too in Manchester.
Sell now and re invest that money in Grealish or put it in the bank and use it as a signing on fee for Halaand next season but please just sell him, he’s disruptive and only plays well when it suits him.

  3. Better he goes now then on a free next summer. No player is bigger then the club how many times have we heard him say he wants to leave? At this stage ill pack his bags for him and drive him to the airport

  4. Pogba should sign a new contract or else he leaves. We are tired by his desire to leave the club.

  5. Possibly his murmurings are meant for Manchester United to offer a largely improved pay for a new contract, rather than actually wanting to leave. Perhaps he should sever relations with his agent, Mino Raiola, who seems to be the trouble-maker and who comes up with vitriol to drive a wedge between Pogba and the club and also the fans.
