Paris Saint-Germain considering move for Manchester United star

Paris Saint-Germain are considering a move for Manchester United star Paul Pogba, according to reports. The Frenchman has just one year remaining on his contract at Old Trafford and is reportedly attracting the interest of the French giants.

Pogba, who was France’s best player at Euro 2020, has failed to commit to a long-term deal at Manchester United and is free to sign a pre-contract with foreign clubs in six months.

Manchester United will be keen to avoid a repeat of the 2012 fiasco, where the club was blindsided by his agent in contract negotiations. Instead, Pogba joined Juventus that summer on a free transfer.

And according to ESPN, Paris Saint-Germain are now considering a move for the 28-year-old this summer. The publication claims that talks have been held between PSG and Pogba’s representatives, with talks initially having been held last month.

It is also claimed that Pogba is yet to discuss a new contract at Manchester United, with the player also said to be interested in a project offer from PSG.
