Jadon Sancho was handed his first start of the tournament against Ukraine this evening and impressed in the first half but often isolated on the right-hand side. As a result, the winger started to drift and thus enjoyed more of the ball.
The soon-to-be Manchester United player dazzled fans on social media with a spectacular piece of skill late in the first half by going past two Ukrainian players like they were not there.
The former Manchester City player was largely involved in any attacking success from Gareth Southgate’s side and, to the delight of Manchester United fans, also struck up a partnership with Luke Shaw at times.

Sancho would be seen switching positions with Raheem Sterling on several occasions, which sparked link-up between Sancho and Manchester United’s player of the year, Luke Shaw.
The full-back had earlier been involved in a move nearly resulting in a goal when Jadon Sancho shot was saved by the Ukrainian goalkeeper.
