Manchester United reach €85m agreement with Borussia Dortmund for Jadon Sancho

Manchester United have finally reached an agreement with Borussia Dortmund over the transfer fee for Jadon Sancho, according to reports. The 21-year-old has been heavily linked with a move to the club but the transfer saga is set to end if reports are to be believed.

Sancho, who was close to joining Manchester United last summer, has enjoyed another stellar campaign with the German team and is now set for a return to the Premier League.

That’s according to Sky Sports Germany, who say that an agreement has finally been reached between the two sides after lengthy negotiations for Sancho’s signature.

The German publication also says that whilst details on how the money will be paid are yet to be finalized, an agreement on the final fee has been reached.

Manchester United are set to pay €85m for the former Manchester City winger, with 15% of that sum believed to be going to Pep Guardiola’s side, who inserted a sell-on clause in their 2017 sale.

Sancho is currently away with England and is unlikely to formally complete a deal before his involvement in the tournament comes to an end.
