Man United willing to make Paul Pogba Premier League’s highest-paid-player

According to recent reports, Manchester United’s hierarchy is set to open contract talks with French midfielder Paul Pogba.

The talented midfielder, who is currently away on international duty with France, only has 12-months left on his United deal.

Fearing they could lose their star midfielder for free as early as next January, according to The Sun, the club has now made the decision to offer the Frenchman a new and improved contract.

It has been reported that the Red Devils will put forward an offer that would make Pogba the Premier League highest-paid player.

The offer in question is understood to be a bumper five-year deal worth a whopping £104m.

The numbers in question would see Pogba earn within the region of £430,000-per-week – a massive upgrade on the club’s current top earner David De Gea who is rumoured to earn a whopping £350,000-per-week (as per The Sun),

Since his arrival back at Old Trafford in 2016, Pogba has featured in 206 games and directly contributed to 82 goals, in all competitions.
