Manchester United have entered the race to sign Leicester and Turkey star Caglar Soyuncu, according to reports. The defender emerged as one of Leicester’s leading figures after the departure of Harry Maguire in 2019 and if reports are to be believed, Solskjaer could be looking to raid the King Power stadium again.
It’s no secret that Solskjaer is keen to add a central defender to his arsenal this summer and although links to Raphael Varane and Pau Torres remain more prominent, an attempt to sign Soyuncu could catch Leicester off guard.
Clearly not in the same calibre as the aforementioned players, it is unlikely that Brendan Rodgers’ side will demand a big fee for the former Bundesliga defender.
📜Continuing their search for a stopper, Manchester United have put Caglar Soguncu on the transfer list.

According to Turkish journalist Ekrem Konur, as seen above, Soyuncu has been added to the ‘list’ as Manchester United continue their search for a central defender.
It is also claimed that although it is merely interest at this point, talks with Leicester over a transfer are scheduled to take place soon. But the Old Trafford hierarchy could face competition for the player, with Chelsea also named as interested.
