PR Disaster: Manchester United held fans’ forum two days before confirming Super League plans

Manchester United held a fans’ forum two days before they confirmed their involvement in the controversial European Super League.

According to the Manchester Evening News, executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward was not present on the call, having spoken on the previous fans’ forum call in November.

It’s interesting how they pick and choose when to attend.

Or how the Glazers have never done a proper interview about their running (ruination) of Manchester United, so do we really want these greedy leaches in power and making up the rules as they go along?

The answer is no, and the sad reality is that they’re going nowhere.

Neither the owners or the board made an attempt to consult fans on their plans to join the European Super League.

They had no plans in place to address it from a media point of view before Ole Gunnar Solskjaer spoke after Sunday’s match and that left the manager blindsided.

What a shambles.

Rather interestingly, the MEN comment on how quiet Richard Arnold was during the call.

Presumably in cloud cuckooland.
