Confirmed Manchester United XI vs Burnley: Marcus Rashford and Paul Pogba start

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has included Marcus Rashford in his Manchester United starting lineup to face Burnley at Old Trafford.

United are hoping to build on their momentum after reaching the Europa League semi-finals in midweek with a routine 2-0 victory over Granada.

The Reds can close the gap to eight points on runaway league leaders Manchester City with victory over Sean Dyche’s struggling Clarets.

Solskjaer has made five changes to the side that cruised past the La Liga side, with three suspended players returning to the starting team.

Luke Shaw returns at left-back in place of Alex Telles and indispensable captain Harry Maguire partners Victor Lindelof after Axel Tuanzebe’s rare outing on Thursday.

Scott McTominay joins Fred in the midfield axis, while Paul Pogba is likely to operate from the left of a front three alongside returning Marcus Rashford and Mason Greenwood.

A strong United bench includes Donny van de Beek, Daniel James, Edinson Cavani and Juan Mata.

Man Utd XI to face Burnley: Henderson, Wan-Bissaka, Lindelof, Maguire, Shaw, Fred, McTominay, Fernandes, Pogba, Rashford, Greenwood.
