(Video) Own goal puts icing on the cake as United book place in Europa League semi-finals

Manchester United have been in total control from the very start.

Granada have given us very little to worry about since the start of the first leg. They smell blood with Paul Pogba already on a yellow card, but in terms of threatening our goal they haven’t even come close.

Edinson Cavani scored his 50th goal in European competition to open the scoring for United, and the ready gradually began to slow the pace down as they now hold a three-goal advantage over the La Liga side.

An own goal in stoppage-time was enough to seal the win. It was one of the strangest own goals you’ll see this season but the Granada defender didn’t know much about it and was probably put off by Juan Mata in mid air.

It remains to be seen who we play in the semi-finals.
