Exclusive: Man United yet to express interest in Eduardo Camavinga

As things currently stand and despite the player being set to reject a new deal, Manchester United have not yet expressed an interest in signing midfielder Eduardo Camavinga.

Camavinga, 18, is tipped to become one of football’s next big stars.

A remarkable breakthrough period has seen the young Frenchman emerge as one of his country’s most exciting prospects.

Since joining Rennes’ youth academy back in 2013, the talented midfielder has gone on to feature in 77 first-team matches, in all competitions.

Such has been the impressive nature of the teenager’s performances on Europe’s biggest stage, according to recent reports, Camavinga is heading for a big move.

The Athletic recently reported that the 18-year-old is set to reject a new deal and will instead seek to move on, either once the summer transfer window opens, or when his deal expires in 2022.

Several clubs have been credited with having a keen interest in the Rennes playmaker – United being one of them.

However, despite the strong links, Stretty News understands that if United would like to sign the teenager, they have yet to make their interest known.

According to a close source, Camavinga is attracting the interest of several top clubs, including PSG, but as things stand – not United.

Our source confirmed that should the young Frenchman move this summer, Rennes will likely demand a fee within the region of €100m.
