Three elite European clubs join West Ham in the race for Jesse Lingard

Everyone wants Jesse Lingard.

According to ESPN, the Manchester United midfielder has impressed so much at West Ham that Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain and Inter Milan have joined the race for Lingard ahead of the summer transfer window.

The England international joined West Ham in January for the remainder of the season. His influence after such a short time has been remarkable, with West Ham sitting fourth in the Premier League and competing for a Champions League spot.

Every player’s dream is to play in the Champions League and Lingard will be no different if he leaves United permanently.

Nobody expected interest from the likes of Real Madrid, PSG and Inter Milan but Lingard continues to prove his critics wrong.

Time will tell if the report has any truth in it, but at the same time nobody thought Lingard would be in the picture for this summer’s European Championships.

Now, I can’t see how Gareth Southgate can leave him at home.

Let us know where you think Lingard will be playing his football next season in the comments section.
