Luke Shaw shows generosity with donation to baby girl’s Leukaemia fund

Luke Shaw has shown a degree of generosity by donating £5,000 towards a baby girl’s Leukaemia fund.

The Manchester United left-back’s name appeared on the GoFundMe page – which you can also donate to, here – and it’s been picked up on social media and news outlets such as the Birmingham Mail.

This is a fantastic gesture by Shaw, who is enjoying the best form of his career at the moment, and it’s always refreshing to see footballers give something back to the people.

Especially those in need.

We see it time and time again with Marcus Rashford and his fight to stop food poverty in the UK.

Shaw has been one of United’s best players this season and it’s nice to see he’s a good lad off the pitch as well.

He is currently on international duty with England after being recalled to Gareth Southgate’s side. There is not a better left-back in the Premier League so it looks like Shaw will be back starring for the Three Lions in the European Championships this summer.

We can be proud of his contribution here, and I hope it encourages many other people to follow suit.
