Predicted Man Utd XI v Leicester City – Pogba starts and Greenwood leads the attack

Marcus Rashford is a doubt for Manchester United’s FA Cup quarter-final clash with Leicester City on Sunday.

The England forward came off at half-time in Thursday’s 1-0 win over AC Milan at the San Siro.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer described the knock as a “twinge” which doesn’t sound serious, as per The Independent, but it’s probably enough to keep him out of action this weekend.

Rashford missed the first leg against AC Milan due to a slight issue and he’s had a shoulder problem for most of the season. Sadly, there’s not much optimism over his chances of featuring in the FA Cup quarter-final.

Anthony Martial has a hip problem and it remains to be seen if Edinson Cavani will be available. That gives Solskjaer a potential headache and pressure is on to pick a team capable of beating a high-flying Leicester City.

Predicted line-ups for Sunday’s FA Cup quarter-final at the King Power Stadium

Manchester United predicted XI: Henderson, Wan-Bissaka, Maguire, Lindelof, Shaw, McTominay, Fred, Fernandes, Pogba,  James, Greenwood.

Leicester City predicted XI: Schmeichel, Fofana, Evans, Soyuncu, Castagne, Ndidi, Tielemans, Thomas, Perez, Iheanacho, Vardy.

Pre-match stat: Manchester United have scored at least 2 goals in 8 of their last 10 matches against Leicester City in all competitions – via WhoScored.

The man to watch for Leicester right now is Kelechi Iheanacho, and Brendan Rodgers will be hoping he can continue a good scoring run this weekend after bagging the first-ever hat-trick of his professional against Sheffield United.

  1. With Leicester racked” with injuries to good players Im sure we can take advantage of the situation,Ole should give his Love child (JAMES) a break as his form was very short to say the least, like a Spaniel chasing a paper bag on a gusty day some would say !.Anyway Pogba is back with Big Mac and that makes a difference,Mason”s form worries me as he hasnt scored for what seems months.I think we will beat Leicester and progress in both Cups now, the AC game defined a great defensive performance and Deano must play, that ZLATAN header was on its way in,De Gea must be on the bench and watch a young goalkeeper pinch his place.I would love to see I would love to see DIALLO start too,Ole needs to give the lad a proper go against the Foxes !
