Real Madrid targeting Manchester United full-back this summer

WEST BROMWICH, ENGLAND - FEBRUARY 14: Aaron Wan-Bissaka of Manchester United and Mbaye Diagne of West Bromwich Albion battle for possession during the Premier League match between West Bromwich Albion and Manchester United at The Hawthorns on February 14, 2021 in West Bromwich, England. Real Madrid are interested in Manchester United full-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

That’s according to Okdiario’s Eduardo Inda, who went on record with his information speaking on El Chiringuito.

Inda said: “Real Madrid are looking for a right back. They have the best who is Dani Carvajal, although the problem is injuries.

“Madrid have (Alvaro) Odriozola, (Elder) Militao can play there too. Ozriozola is considered to have not had the expected progression.

“Two options are being considered. Achraf, which does not have a buyback price, but a trial and error price. Achraf enchants in Madrid.

“Another who enchants is an English right-back, a great full-back named Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

Archraf Hakimi left Real Madrid last summer for Inter Milan.

It’s a move that would significantly strengthen Real Madrid whilst significantly weakening Manchester United.

That’s enough to make it a ‘no chance’ from us. There’s no way United will listen to offers for Wan-Bissaka now with him being a key part of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s building process.

I know a number of fans who question Wan-Bissaka going forward but there’s no way I would like to see him sold this summer. He’s one of the best defensive full-backs around Europe right now.

There’s no point going to Real Madrid to play second fiddle either, not knowing for how long Carvajal is going to be considered first choice.

Wan-Bissaka needs to push on now with getting as many games possible under his belt. Gareth Southgate may well be selecting him over Trent Alexander-Arnold this summer.

Real Madrid can go find a right-back elsewhere. AWB is ours.
