Manchester United U18s trip to Sunderland postponed

Manchester United U18s Premier League clash away to Sunderland on Saturday has been postponed.

The game was scheduled to be shown live on MUTV, however, a forecast of heavy snow in the area has led to the game being called off, as confirmed by Manchester United.

Instead, Sunderland U18s will play host to Manchester United on Tuesday 27 April, at 13:00.

This is not the first time Neil Ryan’s season has been disrupted either…

The FA Youth Cup has been placed on hold while the latest national lockdown drags on. United were due to play Salford City but nobody knows yet if the remainder of that competition will be played. It’s a shame because United have a good young side coming through and we haven’t won it since 2011, when the team included Paul Pogba, Ravel Morrison and Jesse Lingard.

United’s U23s are in action tonight with a home game against Blackburn Rovers in the Premier League 2. Amad Diallo will be playing, as confirmed by first-team boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

You can watch the U23s on MUTV.
