Manchester United Ole Gunnar Solskjaer gave his latest team update ahead of his side’s home game against Sheffield United on Wednesday night.

The Red Devils are top of the Premier League and will look to stay there for as long as possible. We will have one eye on the Man City game later tonight, but ultimately it comes down to what we do against the Blades tomorrow night. Solskjaer knows we should be only focusing on ourselves, which is why we find ourselves in this brilliant situation.

Marcus Rashford was due to have a scan on the injury he picked up against Liverpool, and Solskjaer today confirmed that he will be fit enough to get involved on Wednesday night after training fully today.

Solskjaer said Rashford had ‘tweaked’ his knee a bit but has trained and ‘should be fine’ and available for selection.

“He trained this morning,” he said, as per BBC Sport. “He is available for selection.

“He tweaked his knee a little bit. We are looking strong, which is a good place to be.”

I think with the squad we’ve got Solskjaer can afford to rest Rashford against Sheffield United. Chris Wilder’s side have been shocking this season and there were fears over Rashy’s knock after Liverpool.

Mason Greenwood could do with more minutes on the pitch and Anthony Martial needs goals.
