Manchester United open to loan offers for Facundo Pellistri

Manchester United are willing to send Facundo Pellistri on loan this month, according to reports.

The 19-year-old was signed in the summer from Penarol but has yet to make his first-team debut.

That said, those who watch the youth teams will have seen Pellistri play 8 times for United this season, and we’ve written in the past about his impressive displays.

He was also included in two Champions League squads this season — but will have to wait till United are back in the competition before he can make his first appearance in that competition.

Manchester Evening News claim United are now open to loan offers for Pellistri — a move to help the youngster gain more first-team football.

Amad Diallo officially joined the club from Atalanta last week and, as a fellow right-winger, could be seen closer to the first team than Pellistri.

On that note, it makes total sense for the young Uruguayan to leave temporally in search of first-team football.

The same report stresses that United are not willing to entertain loan offers for Diallo.
