Two Fulham players to miss Premier League meeting v Manchester United

Chelsea’s Mason Mount made the difference at Craven Cottage earlier this evening when Chelsea travelled to Fulham and won 1-0 in the Premier League.

The Cottagers had a 6-game unbeaten streak across all competitions prior to the game, but that meant nothing as Frank Lampard’s Chelsea emerge winners on the night.

Mason Mount scored the game’s only game with a little over 10 minutes from time — from close range. Watch goal via Sky Sports.

The result won’t please manager Scott Parker but they’ve also got suspensions going into their next game against United on Wednesday night — and will be looking to avoid consecutive defeats.

Antonne Robinson was sent off in the first-half for a lunging challenge on Chelsea defender Cesar Azpilicueta.

Meanwhile, Bobby Decordova-Reid was booked 20 minutes from time and will also be ruled out for the upcoming match. He serves a one-man suspension for picking up five yellow cards in the Premier League this season.

Manchester United play tomorrow — a top of the table clash against Liverpool at Anfield. That’s the clear focus right now, but come away from Merseyside with a win and we’ll be looking to get the same at Craven Cottage.
