Marcus Rashford isn’t getting carried away after his late winner against Wolves meant Manchester United will end 2020 in second place in the Premier League.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side are now just two points behind leaders Liverpool in the table after Rashford’s deflected strike decided a dull game at Old Trafford.
Rashford admitted at full-time he was disappointed with the way his side played, but ultimately the three points is all that matters.
The man-of-the-moment was not at his best this evening but provided the scarce moment of inspiration United needed with just two minutes of injury time remaining.
He cut inside and his left-footed effort cruelly deflected off Romain Saiss and caught out Rui Patricio at the near post.
