Wayne Rooney’s eldest son Kai has signed for Manchester United.
Kai, 11, was photographed signing a contract at the club with legendary father Wayne and mother Colleen.
Rooney is currently interim manager at Derby County but took time out to return to his former club on what he described as a ‘proud day’.
United’s all-time top goalscorer shared a picture of Kai holding up the number 10 shirt that he sported during his time in the first team.
Rooney established himself as a United great with five Premier League titles and a Champions League in a 13-year spell at Old Trafford.
And he will be hoping his son can follow in his footsteps having joined the youth system at a very young age.
Meanwhile, Rooney is hoping to secure the Derby managerial job on a full-time basis after the sacking of Phillip Cocu last month.
Everyone at Stretty News would like to congratulate Kai for joining the Red Devils!
