Manchester United will play Real Sociedad in the Europa League Round of 32

Manchester United will take on Real Sociedad in the last 32 of the UEFA Europa League.

The Reds find themselves back in the second-rate European competition after crashing out of the Champions League group stages, however, last season they reached the semi-finals of the Europa and won it outright in 2017.

We went into the draw and one of the seeded teams meaning they couldn’t be drawn against another seeded side or English club.

Real Sociedad have reached the Europa League knockouts for the second time since 2018 and they’re currently on top of the La Liga table. Not only do they have former Manchester United winger Adnan Januzaj, the Spanish outfit signed David Silva from Man City in the summer.

It won’t be the easiest of games but I think that’s what we want in the Europa League to keep our squad on their toes.

United can’t face Arsenal, Leicester City or Tottenham until the quarter-finals.

The first leg will be played on February 18, 2021, with the second legs scheduled to take place on February 25.
