Former Manchester United duo Roy Keane and Gary Neville were involved in a hilarious exchange during Sky Sports’ coverage of the Manchester derby on Saturday.
The pair, who won everything they could between them during their combined 31-years playing career with United, now ply their trades as two of the best pundits on television.
Speaking live on Sky Sports after Saturday’s boring 0-0 Manchester derby, Keane suggested that players should make their starting inclusion impossible to deny by performing the best during training.
In a joking attempt to wind his colleague up, Keane sarcastically hinted that he performed to a higher level than the former right-back did.
Neville came back swinging saying: “I was a stalwart at right back I’ll have you know!” to which Keane hilariously responded with: “You were the only right back at the club, we were stuck with you!”
