The Athletic’s leading journalist David Ornstein has made a worrying prediction that Manchester United may not look to delve into the January transfer window in search of a right-sided attacker.
Speaking on the Athletic’s official YouTube channel, Ornstein, who runs a Q&A session with fans was asked what the Reds may do in terms of business come the January transfer window.
One of the areas of the squad Ornstein picked out was the right-sided attacker role, which he believes may not be bolstered during the winter window due to the club already bringing in Facundo Pellistri and Amad Diallo (not set to join until January).
Ornstein also weighs in the possibility of the club offering midfielder duo Juan Mata and Jesse Lingard new deals.
