Juventus legend urges Pogba to leave Manchester United

Juventus legend Claudio Marchisio has taken to Twitter to urge Paul Pogba to leave Manchester United and return to Turin.

Pogba pulled off a major U-turn in 2016 when he returned to Manchester United after spending four years at Juve.

The Frenchman has been left out of several United sides this season due to his underwhelming performances. He spent the majority of last season out injured and tested positive for COVID-19 in the summer.

Sadly, at 27, Pogba remains a luxury player but Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano reckons he will be offered a new contract at Old Trafford — much to our surprise!

Having a player like Pogba in your team should be an advantage, but this season for United it has been anything but…

Still, Juve legend Claudio Marchisio wants Pogba to return, as he revealed in a public tweet directed at the United midfielder.

His tweet reads: “Please @paulpogba, come to @juventusfc… you will be happy again. Me too #tilltheend”

Marchisio played alongside Pogba during the Frenchman’s time at Juventus. It’s clear from the tweet that they had a decent relationship and Pogba is wanted back in Turin.

  1. I’ll get the bags ready and drive him to airport. He’s talented but no application, determination or concentration. Must be one of the most disappointing signings ever.
