Manchester United are reportedly preparing for as many as three more youngsters to depart the club on loan.

According to a recent report from leading journalist Andy Mitten, United are set to allow Di’Shon Bernard, Max Haygarth and Jacob Carney to all leave on short and long-term loans.

The youngster first joined United’s youth academy from Chelsea’s back in 2017 but has struggled to break into the side’s first-team. The United academy will be hopeful the 20-year-old defender can continue his development with Salford City and return to the Reds with some valuable game-time and experience under his belt.

Elsewhere, midfielder Haygarth, 18, is set to join Championship side Brenford, also on a short-term loan until January.

The young Englishman joined United’s world-renown youth academy in 2018 and has made five appearances for the Reds’ youth sides, including one for the under-23s.

Haygarth will be hoping he can learn a lot from working under Brentford’s highly-rated manager Thomas Frank and he seeks to help the Bees in their quest for long-awaited promotion.

Finally, Carney, 19, will be heading to Brighouse Town until the end of the 2020-21 season.

The teenage goalkeeper will join up with the Northern Premier League Division One North West side in the hope he too can gain some valuable game-time.

Good luck to all our youth lads!
