Video: Solskjaer shows he’s still got it with entry for Mike Phelan goal competition

Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has taken part in a goal competition ran by a company directed by assistant boss Mike Phelan.

Sensible Soccer LTD are running a ‘goal of the month’ contest across their social media channels with the winner receiving a ‘Quickplay 16’x7′ Target Net.’

Phelan has invited supporters to send in their own goal attempts after showcasing Solskjaer’s effort on social media.

The United boss, wearing his club training gear, nudged the ball past a dummy before showing class is permanent with a curled right-footed effort into the top corner.

Solskjaer still has the finishing ability to put some of United’s attackers to shame during first-team training sessions!

The winner of the goal competition is chosen by Phelan and we have a feeling Solskjaer won’t be the recipient of the prize…

Solskjaer’s Reds get their 2020/21 Premier League campaign under way on September 19 against Crystal Palace at Old Trafford.
