Man Utd youngster handed first senior Wales start by Ryan Giggs in Nations League

Manchester United midfielder Dylan Levitt will make his first senior international appearance after being selected in Ryan Giggs’ Wales team to play Finland this evening.

Levitt, 19, made just one appearance for United under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in 2019/20 but is given the nod this evening to make his Wales debut in the Nations League in Helsinki.

The highly-rated teenager lines up alongside Bristol City player Joe Morrell in a youthful midfield and will be looking to impress his club manager as well as Giggs this evening.

Levitt becomes the 16th player United legend Giggs has handed a senior debut to during his time as manager of his country.

Meanwhile, Levitt’s United teammate Daniel James starts in a front three with captain Gareth Bale and Cardiff City striker Kieffer  Moore.

This is a great chance for James to rediscover the form he produced in the early months of his United career ahead of the new domestic campaign which is under three weeks away.

Tonight’s Nations League clash between Wales and Finland kicks off at 7:45pm and will attract plenty of United fans eager to catch a glimpse of Levitt on his international debut.
