AS Monaco centre-back Benoit Badiashile levelled things up yesterday against Reims in their Ligue 1 opener.
It was a superb goal given how he plucked the ball out of the air with a gentle touch and slotting the ball past the opposing goalkeeper.

Two months ago a report from RMC Sport suggested that the youngster was subject to an offer worth €15m from Stade Rennais, but the article also mentions Manchester United, Valencia and Bayer Leverkusen as interested parties.
There is no doubt that Badiashile has talent from watching him break into the Monaco first team. He has also represented France at U-19 level and they’ve always got good pedigree coming through.
