Inter Milan eased through to the Europa League final thanks to their forward pair Lautaro Martinez and former Manchester United striker Romelu Lukaku.
Lukaku and Inter will face Sevilla in the final after the La Liga club killed United’s hopes of Europa League success on Sunday night, coming from behind to win 2-1 in Cologne.
The Belgium international scored his 10th and 11th goals in 10 consecutive Europa League games to add to his stunning record. That’s 33 for the season.
When asked about United being knocked out of the Europa League, Lukaku took the opportunity to speak highly of his former club and praised star boy Mason Greenwood along with Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial.
