Manchester United have launched their new Adidas home kit ahead of the 2020/21 season.
It shows a shade of traditional United red and features a unique pattern.
Inigo Turner, Design Director at Adidas, told ManUtd.com: โFor this season, we researched the values and iconography that connect athlete and fan, and lacked to fuse these with modernity and innovation, to create something that connects the people and stands for unity.
โWe pretty quickly landed on the crest as it is the representation of the heart and passion of the club, it is symbolic and iconic across the word. It is significant as the first component added to each design, and one that makes up the threads of the shirt design for the 2020/21 season.โ
After finishing third in the Premier League this season, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will hope this shirt can bring a bit of luck his sideโs way for the upcoming campaign. The Norwegian is doing his best to bring the glory days back to Ole Trafford.
The kit is accompanied by white shorts and black socks.
United fans will see it in action for the first time on 5 August, as the Red Devils face LASK in the second leg of their Europa League tie. The Reds go into the game with a 5 away goal advantage.
