Andreas Pereira calls Van Dijk arrogant and says he doesn’t like Milner either

Manchester United midfielder Andreas Pereira has spoken out of his dislike for Liverpool duo Virgil van Dijk and James Milner.

Liverpool lifted the Premier League trophy last week and Pereira has been asked to respond to their success this season, while speaking to Desimpedidos in a recording sharing on YouTube.

Pereira said: “I don’t really like that guy … [James] Milner.

“And to tell you the truth, I don’t like that guy, the defender, [Virgil] van Dijk. [He is] Marrento, man, Even the way he plays is kind of arrogant.”

Marrento translates to ‘arrogant’ or ‘cocky’ — a pretty accurate description of Van Dijk.

Milner, on the other hand, couldn’t lift the Premier League title after beating Chelsea without mentioning United.

He also mentioned two players he likes, including Arsenal and Chelsea’s David Luiz and Willian. Two players he knows from being a Brazil international.

Usually players will try to avoid questions like this but I enjoy how Pereira was honest by naming players he doesn’t like.

Next season he will be hoping it’s the Reds of Manchester who will be lifting the Premier League trophy.

Celebrity United fans John Bradley has also aimed a dig at Liverpool for their recent trophy celebrations.

The Game of Thrones actor has a good point about players posing with trophies from two different seasons at the same time.

Quoted by the Daily Mirror, Bradley said: “Imagine in 2009 when we won the PL but lost the CL final our players had carried on posing for photos with both trophies?? They’re something else.

“As soon as the final whistle blew against Atletico (sic) they had no right to pose with the CL anymore. Anybody else would be embarrassed.”
