Manchester United have been dealt a gut-wrenching blow in the final moments of their game against Southampton at Old Trafford.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men were on course for third place with a 2-1 victory, but now stay fifth after a Michael Obafemi equaliser in the 96th minute.
United couldn’t deal with James Ward Prowse’s wicked delivery from a corner, with Nemanja Matic beaten in the air at the front post before Obafemi sneaked past Victor Lindelof to bundle home.
The Reds lost left-backs Luke Shaw and Brandon Williams to injury and failed to hold on to a crucial victory with seconds remaining.
This is a huge blow for United, but a top-four finish remains in their hands if they can win their final three league games.
