Ole Gunnar Solskjaerās side booked their place in the semi-finals after a difficult encounter with Norwich last week. It took a later winner from Harry Maguire in extra time to seal the victory.
Meanwhile, Chelsea continued their good form of late by beating Leicester City before drawing United.
United have plenty of reason to go into this game full of confidence having beaten Frank Lampardās side on three occasions already this season. The Blues look decent at the moment but their momentum may fade before the semi-final is played.
Unitedās first competitive game of the season was a 4-0 win over Chelsea in the Premier League, before knocking them out of the League Cup back in October. In the return league fixture, United won 2-0 away from home.
The other semi-final sees Arsenal take on reigning champions Manchester City. That takes place on Saturday 18 July.
The final is scheduled for August 1.
